In the 11th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 温霆思, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 吕鸿桦 in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, 吕鸿桦 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After a rather tough play, 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's 吕鸿桦 got a free kick in the 20th minute. The 北京的冬天风嗖嗖 fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's 温霆思 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, 温霆思 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 温霆思 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 温霆思, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's 温霆思. But to his dismay, 温霆思 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when 北京的冬天风嗖嗖 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. 陶克辉 didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's 巩瑜飞 got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 巩瑜飞 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 巩瑜飞 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, 温霆思 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Alcocer's late challenge caught a 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Alcocer helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, 温霆思 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's supporters rose to their feet, but 温霆思 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when 吕鸿桦 got free with Benito Sanz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If 叶振崇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by 吕鸿桦 in the 97th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, 叶振崇 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 北京的冬天风嗖嗖's supporters crossed their fingers, but 叶振崇 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
