Fausto Raymundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Raymundo. Miramar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Juan Herrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Miramar got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Cordearo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Wilfredo Gabino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Klement Lesiecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klement Lesiecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Cordearo in the 51st minute of play. Miramar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of play forced Miramar's goalkeeper Fausto Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
