After having played for 3 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Dømel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Kai Rassow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Nordvest Fodbold's Nicolai Deleuran made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Rassow in the 15th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nordvest Fodbold's goalkeeper Gabriel Dømel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paul Banke hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gabriel Dømel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Dømel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asger Søder in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nordvest Fodbold's Gabriel Dømel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute Kai Rassow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Nordvest Fodbold got a freekick which was hit by Nicolai Deleuran. The Mexico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nordvest Fodbold were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Gabriel Dømel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nordvest Fodbold's Sigfrid Sternow got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asger Søder, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolai Deleuran came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Kai Rassow sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Osvald Fesner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 74 minutes on the clock, Lorenzo Cazalla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Nordvest Fodbold made a substitution. Reinhardt Kott replaced Sigfrid Sternow. Gabriel Dømel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Dømel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nordvest Fodbold's Asger Søder in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Dømel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute of play forced Nordvest Fodbold's goalkeeper Gabriel Dømel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Nordvest Fodbold's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Gabriel Dømel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nordvest Fodbold booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Nordvest Fodbold to leave the ground with a draw.
