Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Pasion Tatengue's Stig Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 6th minute of play forced Pasion Tatengue's goalkeeper Stig Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Luken in the 11th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Santiago Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Santiago Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Luken in the 18th minute. Pasion Tatengue's Stig Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. Santiago Luken might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Luken ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 29 minutes into the match, Pasion Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Stig Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Wästerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 minutes Pasion Tatengue's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliberto Iraitz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pasion Tatengue.
