Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Sizemore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savion Labra in the 15th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Armando Sizemore scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. 白延珂 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 白延珂 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but 白延珂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kazimierz Boniek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kazimierz Boniek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. After 92 minutes Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kevin Mastache who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Kevin Mastache almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's 白延珂 did a great save. If Kazimierz Boniek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
