Amadeu Azevedo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Albertinho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Meys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 42nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertinho Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.'s Albertinho Leão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Leão got free with Camilo Freixa in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Vinhas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Chants of TABU F. C. echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Bolivia had held the ball for most of the match.
