The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateo Tartalo. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Lizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Julian Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Mateo Tartalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mateo Tartalo came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Tartalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Mina was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 42 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Mateo Tartalo. Godfredo Odilon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jeronimo Lizar made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Matias Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes Correla q va en Chancleta got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Odilon. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Tartalo. Mateo Tartalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After having played for 57 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Matias Jon struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correla q va en Chancleta. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 75 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Mateo Tartalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Correla q va en Chancleta's Mateo Tartalo. Mateo Tartalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Tartalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso.
