With a left leg Bayezit Tecik saved COSQUIN SFC from getting behind. Raul Ospin got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Balthazar Van Castel. After a rather tough play, Peru's Efraim Gilabert got a free kick in the 11th minute. Iker Unax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Abella in the 18th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Iker Unax got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Raul Ospin made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Balthazar Van Castel. The audience was convinced that Luis Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, COSQUIN SFC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Bayezit Tecik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Rumaldo in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Everardo Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. Luz Tejedor charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luz Tejedor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half.
