Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced Los Hornos's goalkeeper Vinicio Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Tanio to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vinicio Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play forced Los Hornos's goalkeeper Vinicio Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Christobal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Christobal. Los Hornos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Vinicio Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Christobal. Vinicio Christobal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Hornos's goalie prevented a goal. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cristian Sancho. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Laurendi was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Vinicio Christobal made a huge save. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinicio Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vinicio Christobal, 0-8. Vinicio Christobal was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. With a little luck, Los Hornos's Vinicio Christobal got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Cristian Sancho sped through Los Hornos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Christobal. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Christobal. Vinicio Christobal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 74 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Christobal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vinicio Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 0-13 behind a frustrated Vinicio Christobal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goalkeeper Vinicio Christobal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vinicio Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Hornos's Vinicio Christobal got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line.
