Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Panos Paschalidis kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horacio Frisco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 5 minutes into the game, Panos Paschalidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Partemi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Partemi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Paschalidis to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Partemi FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Dominic. In the 13th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Partemi FC defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Frisco. The Partemi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Frisco should have stopped the shot. Horacio Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Partemi FC got a freekick which was hit by Panos Paschalidis. Horacio Frisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 39 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Horacio Frisco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Ecuador booed when Partemi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chip Froggatt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Partemi FC's goalkeeper Horacio Frisco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 66th minute, Chip Froggatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Horacio Frisco made a huge save. After 74 minutes, Aquilino Peyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Partemi FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Partemi FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Peyo. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Frisco made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Partemi FC from getting a goal against them. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Partemi FC's goalkeeper Horacio Frisco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Horacio Frisco made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador played a much better game than Partemi FC and deserved their victory. The Partemi FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
