Rodney Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Haiti's Jorge Meys threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Alphonse, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amadeu Azevedo scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes, Flavinho Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TABU F. C. and the Haiti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 minutes, Ernso Constant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haiti and the TABU F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Ernso Constant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Alphonse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Basílio Vinhas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Haiti's attentive Rodney Emmanuel managed to snatch the ball when Basílio Vinhas made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Alphonse made a kick off. José Augusto Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ramón Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. Haiti's Ernso Constant got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Ernso Constant off the ground. Ernso Constant hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tiaguinho Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Jean Claude Ulysse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haiti and the TABU F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jean Claude Ulysse hit a great ball. When TABU F. C.'s Albertinho Leão in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haiti's goalie prevented a goal. Albertinho Leão was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. TABU F. C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over TABU F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haiti throughout the match.
