Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Gentil Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gentil Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Baía to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Nascimento scored 1-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of Panama's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Panama may have spent more time on the ball, but Pau Nas Canelas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
