Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Alfredo Tomasini scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Bieito Luzuriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfredo Tomasini hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama made a substitution. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bieito Luzuriaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, ALIANZA 1901's Alfredo Tomasini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. ALIANZA 1901's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
