Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dominik Piechocki took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Piechocki in the 2nd minute of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Ortzi having to interfere. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Leproso Juniors booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Ortzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leproso Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dominik Piechocki sent off a good shot on target. Leproso Juniors's Ernesto Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ernesto Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Berker Rıza Uruk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leproso Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Seme got free with Julio Vera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernesto Ortzi could save by the left post. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Beat during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Leproso Juniors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Ernesto Ortzi went to the wrong direction when Daniel Zorita was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Ortzi firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Leproso Juniors's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Ortzi came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berker Rıza Uruk hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Ortzi having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Ortzi was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Amato in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Seme's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Leproso Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Severo Seme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Delmar Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
