The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Messias in the 5th minute of the match. Laerte Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Messias notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jean Marie Alcius fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Jean Marie Alcius a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jean Marie Alcius. When Mathias Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the cavine-- f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Valmir Fahl made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jonathan Alphonse sent off a good shot on target. Ernso Constant charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernso Constant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute Zé Augusto Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Zé Augusto Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The cavine-- f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Perivaldo Messias was the one to do the kick off. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes, Jonathan Alphonse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haiti and the cavine-- f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Jonathan Alphonse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Alvarenga might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. Laerte Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 63 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Alphonse. 67 minutes into the game, Wellington Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. cavine-- f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick. After a rather tough play, cavine-- f.c.'s Wellington Albuquerque got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Mathias Alvarenga made a precise shot to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. A collision led to cavine-- f.c. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Laerte Lara hit a great ball. Jean Claude Ulysse kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Laerte Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
