Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Richie Cagigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richie Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Lucho Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Gabriel Heinze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richie Cagigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richie Cagigal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richie Cagigal. Richie Cagigal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richie Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play. Galoer Barajo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Galoer Barajo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Galoer Barajo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Adalberto Archibeque hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Gabriel Heinze put in a rough tackle. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Benth Vedelsgaard was substituted for Yiyo Sauca. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richie Cagigal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucho Aguiar made a kick off. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Lucho Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 60 minutes, Luca Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Banaszak in the 61st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucho Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shi Nan Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's corner Shi Nan Zhen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. Richie Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After 97 minutes, Luca Rouco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shi Nan Zhen took the corner. The Real de Carmelo 2021 FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
