After some careless play in the Guanacos defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casimiro Iago. The Guanacos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casimiro Iago should have stopped the shot. Casimiro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Iago having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Casimiro Iago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Lamberto to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Guanacos's Casimiro Iago. Casimiro Iago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Iago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Casimiro Iago. 0-9. Guanacos's Casimiro Iago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. When Feliberto Shantala fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanacos's protests and gave Feliberto Shantala a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Shantala. Casimiro Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 59th minute of play. Casimiro Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Casimiro Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Camilo Gisbert made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Hermengildo Venceslas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Casimiro Iago threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 74 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Iago was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ecuador's Luis Andino in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guanacos's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 80th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Nemesio Mederi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Nemesio Mederi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Iago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casimiro Iago made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Casimiro Iago in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guanacos throughout the match.
