Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim de Barros took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Arthur Guerra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 14 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. After 15 minutes of play, VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 22nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim de Barros in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Joaquim de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, VB-Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francisco Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armindo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arthur Guerra, made in the 35th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Joaquim de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 47th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Gervásio Severiano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 57th minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Caeiro in the 62nd minute of play. After 66th play minutes Joaquim de Barros shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Joaquin Gayoso and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 70th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, VB-Team's Álvaro Rezende seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Álvaro Rezende the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VB-Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Álvaro Rezende had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in VB-Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Armindo Salgado had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Cazalla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Jaime Cazalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. When Traian Hăvârneanu came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Hăvârneanu couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Traian Hăvârneanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 1-4. Traian Hăvârneanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of VB-Team booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 90th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Qiu Sheng Bang managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Qiu Sheng Bang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Hăvârneanu to maneuver through the defense. VB-Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
