Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mateo Flores took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Agustín Saelices sped through Dep. Morón 1947's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jack Nicholson. Jack Nicholson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Dep. Morón 1947's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jack Nicholson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Rudø in the 13th minute of the match. Dep. Morón 1947's Jack Nicholson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Mateo Flores made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Dep. Morón 1947's Rencio Armada got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Mateo Flores got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Rudø in the 38th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Dep. Morón 1947 got a freekick which was hit by Rencio Armada. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mateo Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Rudø in the 47th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dep. Morón 1947's Jacobo Cidro was substituted for Joel Laffitte. The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Mateo Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Rudø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dep. In the 76th minute of the match Stanislaw Siedlecki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Zeledon Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes, Fernan Harriet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep. Morón 1947 and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Stanislaw Siedlecki made a great header on Dep. Morón 1947's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. If Zeledon Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
