Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal did a great save. In the 16th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucho Aguiar went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Banaszak in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Lucho Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richie Cagigal came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucho Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galoer Barajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Lucho Aguiar. But to his dismay, Lucho Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lucho Aguiar scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Real de Carmelo 2021 FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucho Aguiar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucho Aguiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shi Nan Zhen took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vincent Tordesillas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 59 minutes, Lucho Aguiar made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Lucho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Lucho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Lucho Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Richie Cagigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Larry Estoyanoff was substituted for Stefan Banaszak. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Richie Cagigal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Lucho Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The Real de Carmelo 2021 FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real de Carmelo 2021 FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
