Rafal Brack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Severo Larra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Brack in the 23rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Larra in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Astor Eguntsenti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-1. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Mancebo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Larra in the 45th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severo Larra was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes C.A. Línea Rotativa got a freekick which was hit by Juan Netto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Urtats saved C.A. Línea Rotativa from getting behind. After 58 minutes C.A. Línea Rotativa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats did a great save. In the 59th match minute, C.A. Línea Rotativa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmed Paşa to maneuver through the defense. Juan Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Anier Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 71 minutes into the game, Astor Eguntsenti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Línea Rotativa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when C.A. Línea Rotativa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Eguntsenti didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Anier Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Anier Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anier Urtats came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 87th minute. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Línea Rotativa from getting a goal against them. Mexico played a much better game than C.A. Línea Rotativa and deserved their victory. The C.A. Línea Rotativa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
