An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 7th minute of play forced Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Sissons was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The supporters of Plaistow United booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Sissons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martynas Timinskas in the 20th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Parkinson made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Sissons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Martynas Timinskas sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute Plaistow United were awarded a corner. Brynn McMahon went to the cornerflag to take it. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Sissons. Ian Sissons dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 37th minute of play forced Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Plaistow United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brendon Saville stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kevin Mastache fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 53 minutes into the match, Plaistow United's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Ian Sissons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Plaistow United's Ian Sissons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Plaistow United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 58th minute of play forced Plaistow United's goalkeeper Ian Sissons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes Plaistow United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Ian Sissons despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martynas Timinskas in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. The throw-in from Oliver Parkinson in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Abram Secada scored 1-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Sissons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Brendon Saville got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Alf Key got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mastache to maneuver through the defense. Hayden Rashleigh hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Plaistow United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colombia's performance. The match ended with a win for Colombia.
