Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban Dreer. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Dreer saved GALACTICOS from getting behind. In the 12th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. GALACTICOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hägele in the 19th minute of play. When Noel Hägele came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the GALACTICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Hägele couldn't finish the play. Noel Hägele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Mora kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Esteban Dreer to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mexico booed when GALACTICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erk Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute of play. Esteban Dreer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 67 played minutes GALACTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Hong. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Dreer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
