Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rolando Pasqual made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Anier Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that C.A. Línea Rotativa's Anier Urtats managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the game, Gogo Tancredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Gogo Tancredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 14 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the C.A. Línea Rotativa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 14th minute. Rolando Pasquals short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 17 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Urtats was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Rolando Pasqual made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 23 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Pasqual came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Anier Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Anier Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Netto hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Pasqual in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Anier Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, David Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anier Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Anier Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Francisco Haritz was substituted for Silverio Horado. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Urtats having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Pasqual in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rolando Pasqual's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmed Paşa in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match C.A. Línea Rotativa got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmed Paşa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Pasqual in the 93rd minute of play. C.A. Línea Rotativa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
