In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Cherry Evans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 18th minute, Cherry Evans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Araklılı Avareler's Cherry Evans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baycan Selami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cherry Evans in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 30th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehmet Çağakan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Çağakan came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anastasios Bakasetas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Araklılı Avareler's Baycan Selami tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Araklılı Avareler's Mehmet Çağakan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Araklılı Avareler from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Çağakan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Cherry Evans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Mehmet Çağakan. Araklılı Avareler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 70th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Araklılı Avareler's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Araklılı Avareler's Mehmet Çağakan did a great save. Baycan Selami kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baycan Selami in the 76th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cherry Evans in the 80th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cherry Evans, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
