Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marco Pero kicked off to start the match. ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 5th minute of play forced ZAFIRO FC's goalkeeper Armando Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Pero. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Paredes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Armando Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 17th minute of the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after ZAFIRO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Armando Paredes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Gervasio Txaran threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Armando Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the game, Moises Gayoso landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 35 minutes into the game, Gervasio Txaran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZAFIRO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 37th match minute, ZAFIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Txaran to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Gervasio Txaran in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 41st minute, Marco Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZAFIRO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Armando Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Julian Murillo in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Paredes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Paredes was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Antonio Tenorio threw the ball into play from the sideline. ZAFIRO FC's Gervasio Txaran quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Gervasio Txaran made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Armando Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. ZAFIRO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Armando Paredes in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ZAFIRO FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Paredes came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's Ernest Ponta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gervasio Txaran was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd match minute, ZAFIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Armando Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
