The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Cheng Xiang in the 6th minute of the match. Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of play. Orlando Casaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Erauso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Casaus ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's Co Bayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of the match. Aytuğ Aral was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Aytuğ Aral came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Erauso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 47 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Victor Erauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Co Bayo in the 54th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Victor Erauso made a huge save. Alijilán returns made a substitution. Sly Noble replaced Kieth Van Damme. Jacobo Azubeli kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Wang Cheng Xiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Erauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Wang Cheng Xiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Erauso made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. The Alijilán returns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
