Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arthur Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Arthur Sousa could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. In the 11th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archie Maddox in the 18th minute. Arthur Sousa came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Sousa in the 24th minute. Archie Maddox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Tallahassee Vikings's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Douglas Robertson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Maddox, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Archie Maddox sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Archie Maddox fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arthur Sousa scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Tallahassee Vikings booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Arthur Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallahassee Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arthur Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Maddox in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tallahassee Vikings's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blaine Thorne came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Noboa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Maddox in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Arthur Sousa put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Arthur Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Arthur Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Arthur Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Sousa's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Arthur Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tallahassee Vikings:s goal. If Archie Maddox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Sousa in the 91st minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Mitxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tallahassee Vikings had played much better football throughout.
