Pedro Manzanares stood somewhat misplaced when Yu Quan Di came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. In the 14th minute, Kevin Mastache made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. Luganeros AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Liher came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Quan Di. Gabriel Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Gabriel Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Yu Quan Di tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 35th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Cazalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gabriel Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Porfiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Colombia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eduardo Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luganeros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Liher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kevin Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gabriel Porfiro made a huge save. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Gabriel Porfiro threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Secada, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Rey Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Rey Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Amancio Claris took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. In the 93rd minute of the game Janusz Ziemniak made a throw-in which Rey Ronaldo played forward. 95 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's Eliseo Bittor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
