An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Dexiators's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodoro Leobardo in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Teodoro Leobardo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Johansson in the 43rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matthias Lindgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 65th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Lindgren. Dexiators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the last second Matthias Lindgren throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alberto Tafalla in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Lindgren having to interfere.
