Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Paraguay's Jaime Pardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Glanselius in the 3rd minute of play. Sture Josefsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Primitivo Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 10th minute of play forced Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Sture Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Josefsson made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Jens-Ove Ahlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bantayan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Ahlstedt couldn't finish the play. Bantayan BK's Sture Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Bantayan BK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Campos in the 20th minute of play forced Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Sture Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Bantayan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Escribano came free, but Sture Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Josefsson stood somewhat misplaced when Hector Covarrubias came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Sture Josefsson made a huge save. Jaime Pardo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 29th playminute. 32 minutes into the match, Bantayan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Covarrubias came free, but Sture Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Sture Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Sture Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 37th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Bantayan BK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Ahlstedt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 39th minute of play forced Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Sture Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great ball. Bantayan BK's Sture Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Hector Covarrubias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Primitivo Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Josefsson. Bantayan BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Peter Glanselius made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Bantayan BK defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sture Josefsson. The Bantayan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sture Josefsson should have stopped the shot. Sture Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Sture Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Covarrubias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Bantayan BK defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sture Josefsson. The Bantayan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sture Josefsson should have stopped the shot. After 63 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sture Josefsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mats Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Sture Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 69th minute of play. Sture Josefsson came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. But to his dismay, Jaime Pardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Sture Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 74th minute of play forced Bantayan BK's goalkeeper Sture Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 78th minute of play. Sture Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Primitivo Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jaime Pardo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bantayan BK's Sture Josefsson didn't even have to move. Sture Josefsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Covarrubias went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sture Josefsson. Sture Josefsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
