Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Michalski started the match with the kick off. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Peres having to interfere. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor Michalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Michalski could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Michalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Raphael Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Michalski in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Michalski in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Raphael Peres in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Rafe came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Chapadao Rs's Raphael Peres got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Michalski in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Peres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. After a rather tough play, Chapadao Rs's Ediberto Sá got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Raphael Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Raphael Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Chapadao Rs getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Igor Michalski hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Raphael Peres made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
