Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play. After 24 minutes Cachiyuyo EAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Xavier Figueroa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cachiyuyo EAS's Niceto Oriche quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Manzanedo, made in the 27th minute of the game. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Rencio in the 28th minute of the match. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Rencio to make the kick off. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio. But to his dismay, Fabricio Rencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Polentzi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Javier Palban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. The supporters of Chile booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evaristo Velasco. Evaristo Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Rencio in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Sena came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Evaristo Velasco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Dito Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Sena in the 86th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Dito Sena notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Mariano Lacasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evaristo Velasco. That made the score 3-2 after 90 minutes of play. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
