Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Guillermo Mitxaut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's Guillermo Mitxaut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Narciso Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of the match. Colombia were furious when Pascual Carballar was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Chorroarín's Narciso Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Narciso Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Sixto Aragones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Sixto Aragones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chorroarín's Narciso Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Romero got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Chorroarín's corner Miguel Alaminos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Narciso Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Mitxaut to make the kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Aquino in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 minutes, Guillermo Mitxaut made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Oinatz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. After 71 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. When Kevin Mastache came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kevin Mastache couldn't finish the play.
