After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Fonseca in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Fonseca in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's Carlos Alberto Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogério Mello could save by the left post. The supporters of Chile booed when Nascidos Para Jogar F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volli Ant didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play forced Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's goalkeeper Rogério Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Fonseca in the 29th minute of play. When Orlando Casaus fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Orlando Casaus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nascidos Para Jogar F.C booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Rogério Mello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chile booed when Nascidos Para Jogar F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cícero Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Mello made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Fonseca came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Isaltino Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Carlos Alberto Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute of the match. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Fonseca got free with Thiago Pliego in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogério Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Nascidos Para Jogar F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rogério Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 70th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Volli Ant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogério Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nascidos Para Jogar F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chile had controlled the match.
