Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Selwyn Seangchjan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachiyuyo EAS and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Rencio's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Fabricio Rencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Rencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Rencio in the 28th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Edgard Polentzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaristo Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabricio Rencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Rencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Evaristo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Rencio made a kick off. Evaristo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Niceto Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Rencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Evaristo Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Fabricio Rencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabricio Rencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. With a little luck, Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Evaristo Velasco made a huge save. Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo EAS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Sena in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Evaristo Velasco made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Sevenants. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cachiyuyo EAS had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
