Narciso Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Mitxaut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the referee ended the match the Peru players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
