After 44 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfred Rojewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Rojewski saved Chruszczewka SSA from getting behind. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 79 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfred Rojewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfred Rojewski could save by the left post. After having played for 83 minutes, Bartlomiej Zahemski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chruszczewka SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartlomiej Zahemski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
