Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Linares in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Rio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced PLUMAS's goalkeeper Anibal Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Jurgi. PLUMAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Anibal Jurgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anibal Jurgi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes PLUMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Anibal Jurgi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. PLUMAS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erasmo Mogel in the 41st minute. Anibal Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

PLUMAS made a substitution. Bartolo Berart replaced Patrick Linares. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Berart was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after PLUMAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anibal Jurgi quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Berart in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Amador Kelemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Berart in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anibal Jurgi firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 66th minute Erasmo Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Jurgi made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anibal Jurgi. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Mogel in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Bartolo Berart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PLUMAS's Rogelio Claus was substituted for Erasmo Mogel. Anibal Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after PLUMAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. PLUMAS's Anibal Jurgi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save PLUMAS from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Bartolo Berart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Bartolo Berart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by PLUMAS's Rogelio Claus. But to his dismay, Rogelio Claus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Rogelio Claus came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the PLUMAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Claus couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
