Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Silvestre Cisco made the kick off which started today's match. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naohiro Takahara. Agustín Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Rossi saved Frontera AFC from getting behind. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. Frontera AFC's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Andino in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Rossi saved Frontera AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 24th minute. Naohiro Takahara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cisco in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Agustín Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Andino made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Frontera AFC's Guillermo Barros Schelotto was substituted for Naohiro Takahara. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Juan Sebastián Puig tried in the 48th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Julio Vera a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Guillermo Barros Schelotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frontera AFC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvestre Cisco took the corner. Celso Betadur made a great header on Frontera AFC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Agustín Rossi in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agustín Rossi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustín Rossi having to interfere. After some careless play in the Frontera AFC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustín Rossi. The Frontera AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustín Rossi should have stopped the shot. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Frontera AFC's Silvestre Cisco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agustín Rossi firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
