Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, E. C. Uruguaiana's Lei Bin Kuan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lei Bin Kuan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E. C. Uruguaiana protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lei Bin Kuan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for E. C. Uruguaiana! In the 11th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Marinescu during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavius Marinescu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Leonardo Leoz got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Palmeira got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. E. C. Uruguaiana's Vicente Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Marinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, E. C. Uruguaiana's Valdemar da Cunha got a free kick in the 44th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maicon Palmeira to make the kick off. Valdemar da Cunha hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. Vicente Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of E. C. Uruguaiana's Vicente Guimarães. Vicente Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Guimarães had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Guimarães could save by the left post. In the 76th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 83rd minute of play forced E. C. Uruguaiana's goalkeeper Vicente Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Vicente Guimarães in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Guimarães. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Vicente Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th match minute, E. C. Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
