With an all-out effort, Fohat Neyen's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bengt-Rune Widberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bengt-Rune Widberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Bengt-Rune Widberg sent off a good shot on target. Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Widberg got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraido Bertiz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iraido Bertiz saved Fohat Neyen from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Bengt-Rune Widberg put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 47th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Iraido Bertiz. Fohat Neyen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Widberg in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's Bengt-Rune Widberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 64 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Bengt-Rune Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Iruinea Llordes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fohat Neyen were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iruinea Llordes took the corner. After 93rd play minutes Bengt-Rune Widberg shot 6-2, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 96th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-3. Fohat Neyen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
