The goal made the score 1-0. Silvestre Cisco in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Cisco in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Luis Advíncula got a free kick in the 10th minute. Silvestre Cisco had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Silvestre Cisco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvestre Cisco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Silvestre Cisco put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvestre Cisco was slow to take the kick. During this time Frontera AFC's players had a chance to rest. 31 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera AFC the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Naohiro Takahara took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Silvestre Cisco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Silvestre Cisco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Silvestre Cisco, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Silvestre Cisco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Silvestre Cisco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Cisco struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naohiro Takahara in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Rodrigo Palacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Palacio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Frontera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Advíncula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Frontera AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustín Rossi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera AFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Palacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Frontera AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
