After 4 minutes of play, Dexiators's Brian Bern made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 7 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Rönn. Dexiators's Max Gustafsson got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Dexiators's Lennart Johansson in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute Dexiators were awarded a corner. Teodoro Leobardo went to the cornerflag to take it. Dexiators's Teodoro Leobardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th match minute, Dexiators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Misiorowski to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Johansson in the 30th minute of play. In the 48th minute Tymoteusz Misiorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Max Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. After 58 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Ove Hökqvist. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Dexiators's Ludvig Lindqvist was substituted for Ove Hökqvist. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Teodoro Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Bern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The supporters of Dexiators booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Teodoro Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodoro Leobardo who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Max Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. Lennart Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 80 in the game by Max Gustafsson from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 84th minute, Max Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Gustafsson in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tymoteusz Misiorowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthias Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
