Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Grentino FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Falcão Sampaio quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 31st minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Simão in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Sampaio was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Simão in the 44th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Simão to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Sampaio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Grentino FC's Joaquin Xacintu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of the match. Gualter Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Gualter Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Gualter Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Simão in the 73rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Amadeu de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Gualter Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grentino FC throughout the match.
