Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 15th minute when Constantino Henrico elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Henrico in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Constantino Henrico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Aaron Sendoa with Generoso Semeno as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 28th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Ugaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36thth minute of the game Hüsnü Hürsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Serafin Ugaitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute Constantino Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 44th minute. Paddy Attenborough took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustav Sefastsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Serafin Ugaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Gustav Sefastsson scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-7. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cacomixtles de Queretaro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
