The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of play forced Französisch Buchholz FC's goalkeeper Heimko Geisen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Velloso in the 14th minute of play. Französisch Buchholz FC's Heimko Geisen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Französisch Buchholz FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiko Kottsieper in the 18th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guillermo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Jeremias Clementi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heimko Geisen made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Heimko Geisen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 31st minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maiko Kottsieper in the 33rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Dé Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 44 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Französisch Buchholz FC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lacasa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Dé Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half Französisch Buchholz FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Heimko Geisen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 56th minute. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Heimko Geisen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Heimko Geisen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Velloso in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heimko Geisen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heimko Geisen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, Orlando Casaus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heimko Geisen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mariano Lacasa hit a great ball. Heimko Geisen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thiago Pliego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dé Velloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Jeremias Clementi took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armin Kirchhoff who took care of the corner kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Französisch Buchholz FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
