After some careless play in the Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin. The Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Maximilian Stålman sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute İlkan Osmanoğulları shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 41st minute of the match Chile got a corner. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the game, Hamit Refet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. Hamit Refet kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th play minute Maximilian Stålman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Pliego. 4-2. Gerardo Pozo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute of the match. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Beckham in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd minute of play forced Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Indiano. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Güney Tanören fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's protests and gave Güney Tanören a yellow card for diving instead. Güney Tanören hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 86th minute of play forced Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. 96 minutes into the match, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Jarl Berg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
