Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Okan Golovichev kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Karapinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertel Ankara to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Okan Golovichev went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marcus Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Okan Golovichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Marcus Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Okan Golovichev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Okan Golovichev slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 19th minute. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karapinar's goalie prevented a goal. Karapinar's Marcus Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Karapinar's Camilo Palos. Marcus Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Okan Golovichev sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 54 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Marcus Mazza managed to make a qualified save. Karapinar's players were relieved. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thad Castle in the 55th minute of the match. Thad Castle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Daniel Zorita in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcus Mazza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 62 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Marcus Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Karapinar got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Karapinar made a substitution. Ali Cafer Tatar replaced Ahmet Nasir Kamran. In the 68th minute, Sertel Ankara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Karapinar got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Ersayın. Marcus Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of the match. Marcus Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Karapinar to leave the ground with a draw.
