The supporters of Wy-pas booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Roch Mazierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Mazierski came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Piechocki in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Wy-pas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ace Ventura hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 75th minute. Michal Piechocki scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hong Yi Jian in the 82nd minute of play. When Wy-pas's Roch Mazierski in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
